PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR

Paintless Dent Repair (or PDR) is a method of removing dents from the sheet metal of a vehicle, using specialized tools, without the use of paint, bondo or “traditional” body work. PDR has been the preferred method of repairing door dings, dents and hail damage with new car dealers for the last 15 to 20 years. Insurance companies have found it to be a superior alternative to repair small dents. If possible, it is always better to keep the factory paint on your vehicle. Your factory paint is always better than paint from a body shop. The adhesion properties, texture, color, tint and fading are near impossible to match with 100% precision. Some of the best body shops in town spend up to $100k on a paint booth. The auto manufacturer spends over $1million in most cases.

  • Quicker turn around time
  • Less expensive than traditional Paint and Body
  • Perfect color match to existing
  • No toxic paint fumes into the ozone

THE DENT CONTROL WAY

At Dent Control, we perform the following during the Estimate Process:

1

Wash Your Vehicle

Who doesn't love a shiny, clean car? We will wash your vehicle, helping any dents show up much better, and hopefully making your day a little better too.

2

Lights

Dent Control has special LED lighting to show every little defect on the car. Without this lighting, small dents will not show up.

3

Circle Every Dent

Using a wax pencil, we circle every dent on your vehicle. This enables us to properly count how many dents are on each panel, enabling a thorough repair.

4

Inspect Vehicle Trim

Trim pieces cannot typically be repaired, and so must usually be replaced. We inspect every part, ensuring that you get a complete repair. We then order new parts, replacing them while we have your vehicle.

5

Write The Estimate

Using specialized software, we write up your detailed estimate, including replacement parts.

6

Insurance Estimate Comparison

We compare our estimate to the insurance estimate. If there is a significant difference (90% of the time there is), we send your insurance company our estimate. This is called a supplement.

7

Supplement

We email or fax our estimate and photos of your car to your insurance company. They review it and typically visit our shop to inspect the vehicle with us. We then will show them the damage missed by their initial estimate, and negotiate the final fair cost of repairs.

8

Insurance Approval & Repair

Now is the fun part - the repair! Dent Control goes through this time consuming process, ensuring that you get a COMPLETE repair.
